As our Senior Leisure and Entertainment Marketing Manager, reporting to the Head of Leisure and Entertainment Marketing you will lead and deliver the Leisure and Entertainment pre-opening plans for The Star Brisbane along with leading the development, design, and deployment of commercially focused campaigns across Entertainment and Food & Beverage.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to help shape one of the most significant developments in Brisbane’s recent history, delivering a brand-new tourism, entertainment and leisure destination for Brisbane and broader Australia.

 

A few of your responsibilities

  • Develop and lead Leisure and Entertainment marketing strategy activity plan and Through the Line communication across customer, brand (master and sub brand/venues), and channel.
  • Together with the Head of Leisure and Entertainment Marketing, develop a 12-month media buy and oversee its execution through the Partner Media Agency to secure the optimal outcomes for The Star Brisbane.
  • Effectively engage the Creative Agency to develop compelling on brand and customer centric communication that support approved activity and campaigns.
  • Work closely with the Head of Performance Marketing to develop and execute a strong hotel online marketing strategy plan and own the offline components.
  • Develop marketing campaigns that comply with RSA and RSG codes, statutory requirements, and company policies. Compliance with The Star Entertainment Group’s Sustainability Strategy.

 

What we are looking for

 

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in marketing, advertising, or brand development within a hospitality/gaming or related industry.
  • Stakeholder management skills with the proven ability to build relationships and manage multiple priorities and internal customer groups.
  • Demonstrated ability in planning and resourcing people and products, performance management and controlling labour costs and operating expenses.
  • Proven experience leading a team in a high-volume environment managing tight and conflicting deadlines.
  • Understanding of laws as they relate to the organisation, in particular Privacy, Marketing and related laws and ability to understand regulatory legislation.

 

You are a seasoned Marketing leader with extensive experience working within large corporations, that brings a sense of urgency along with demonstrating focus and drive. Along with playing a pivotal part of the pre-opening of The Star Brisbane, you will be conducting quarterly plans along with developing and executing campaigns.
