The Star Gold Coast is currently accepting applications for Residential Services Executive to join our team on an 18-month contract!

This exciting opportunity will see you form a key role within the pre-opening team for Tower 2, The Star Residences, the second stunning residential tower within The Star Gold Coast’s world-class integrated resort. Due for completion in late 2024 this magnificent property is the second of up to five new towers to be developed as part of The Star’s unrivalled $2 billion masterplan.

In this role you will work closely with multiple Internal Departments, Apartment Purchasers, Resident Owners and Suppliers. Your experience managing and administering contracts, documents and policies will help establish a robust business framework that supports the opening of the Tower 2 hotel letting business. In addition, your adaptability under pressure, exceptional time management and multi-tasking strengths will see you overseeing the logistics of various onsite pre-opening services related to the strata operations business, including coordination of suppliers, creation of logistics registers, establishment of SOPs and other essential building information that supports the activation of a new residential development.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate purchaser database records, pre and post settlement and report on this information to the business
  • Create and maintain systems and databases including building matrixes and logistics registers to support building management, revenue and hotel operational functions
  • Manage the contractual documentation processes related to apartment letting and other related licenses and guarantees
  • Assist with the writing and development of SOP’s and building manuals
  • Coordination of various pre-opening site activities, related to the above functions

What are we looking for?

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience writing SOP’s and other related documents
  • Knowledge of the contractual documentation requirements of the Property Occupations and Residential Tenancies Act
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment within hotel pre-opening environment and/or the strata operations or real estate industry
  • Project Management experience highly regarded
  • Previous experience in setting up new processes and systems
  • A team player that works in collaboration with multiple stakeholders, with a service oriented nature
  • Experience with systems including Sihot, Console, Opera and Mybos or the ability to efficiently learn new systems
