About the Role
As the Senior Lecturer, Biomechanics in exercise and sport science, you will have demonstrated experience of advanced technical biomechanical skills, including the integration of different technologies, biomechanical data collection and analysis techniques within multi-disciplinary teams.
You will be involved in the delivery of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses within the Department of Health Sciences and Biostatistics. Responsibilities include educational and curriculum development for on-campus, online, or blended learning materials and assessments. The appointee will also coordinate units within the degree programs, including teaching and marking assessments.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
• Contribute to the development and implementation of effective learning and teaching practices within the university at undergraduate and postgraduate level, specifically in the field of biomechanics for exercise and sport science.
• Preparation and delivery of tutorials, lectures, practical’s, workshops and/or seminars.
• Prepare, assess, and provide appropriate feedback to students.
• Adopt and develop units and course materials.
• Maintain the quality of the programs through reviews and to meet industry/organisational needs, educational requirements, and quality standards.
• Investigate and develop alternative teaching methods and the initiation and development of new material.
• Capability to lead a research program with the ability to work collaboratively, as well as provide HDR supervision to achieve high impact outcomes.

Qualifications
• A Doctorate qualification in Exercise and Sport Science – Biomechanics
• Accreditation with Exercise and Sport Science (ESSA) as AES
• A teaching qualification is preferable
