About the Role
Swinburne University of Technology are seeking a Manager of Remuneration & Benefits to join our team, reporting to the Director of Talent, Organisational Development, and Remuneration. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end remuneration program of the University and providing expert advice, solutions, and recommendations on remuneration matters. As a trusted partner to colleagues in the People function and across functions, you will deliver effective remuneration solutions that align with the University's business objectives.
The successful candidates duties will include ensuring the correct application and governance of the University's remuneration frameworks, policies, and practices to maintain consistency, fairness, and equity across the organization. Additionally, you will stay informed about remuneration trends, review market data, engage in industry forums, and stay up-to-date on regulatory changes to ensure that our reward frameworks reflect current market information and best practices.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Demonstrated ability to manage a job evaluation framework (ideally Mercer) and build organisational capability to ensure the accurate definition and evaluation of roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge managing and maintaining a remuneration framework
- Solid background in developing a compelling benefits profile and delivering reward programs within medium to large organisation
- Proven ability to be analytical & handle data effectively with the ability to track and understand the market and trends over time
Qualifications
- Post Graduate qualifications in Human Resources, Business or other relevant disciplines together with extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
