About the Role 
We are excited to announce a Project Manager position at the Centre for Mental Health and Brain Sciences. You will be central to managing the Wellcome Trust-funded Tipping Point project, which will run from 2024 to 2029. The Tipping Point project is a multi-study, international initiative focused on predicting relapse in individuals diagnosed with bipolar disorder. As the primary administrative lead, the Project Manager will play a key role in the coordination and execution of this important research. 

Reporting directly to Professor Greg Murray and Professor Denny Meyer, you will oversee the completion of an observational study based in Australia. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating daily project activities such as staff recruitment and training, participant recruitment, data collection, progress tracking, and reporting. In addition to managing these tasks, you will assist  with coordination of the international project, through  handling budgeting and reporting requirements, and organizing online team meetings. .

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 
  • Experience recruiting and assessing participants with a mental health diagnosis
  • Experience conducting clinical trials or cohort studies
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated person
  • Demonstrated capacity to relate to people with a mental health diagnosis in a respectful and supportive way

Qualifications
An Honours or Postgraduate degree in psychology or related discipline
