About the Role
Swinburne University of Technology are looking for a Program Architect. This specialized role entails leading and overseeing the program architecture for a significant transformation initiative our Finance Modernisation Program. The primary responsibility is to develop and implement the program architecture, encompassing business, process, data, application, integration, infrastructure, and security components essential for program delivery. The role necessitates a profound comprehension of the university's strategic objectives and the capacity to formulate architecture and designs that harmonize with the enterprise architecture.
The Program Architect will play a pivotal role in modernizing conventional finance models by integrating digital platforms and contemporary technology solutions. As a visionary figure within Swinburne University's IT, the Program Architect identifies opportunities for leveraging information technology to streamline, automate, and revolutionize the university's operations. Swinburne IT is dedicated to delivering tangible value to the university by optimizing technology investments. With a strategic focus, Swinburne IT collaborates closely with the business to execute initiatives that align with each of the university's strategic pillars, serving as a critical facilitator for the university to realize its vision and achieve the objectives outlined in the 2025 Strategic Plan.
About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- 15+ years of experience in the IT industry with at least 10+ years working in the role of program architect or an enterprise architect or similar capacity
- Proven track record of developing and implementing program architecture that leverage technology for operational excellence
- Proven experience in building technology roadmaps supporting transformation activities and implementation of major IT projects
- Extensive experience with COTS implementation, especially in Finance ERP solutions

- A graduate degree level qualification in a relevant discipline with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education, and training
