About the Role 
Step into a role that not only shapes the future of learning but also inspires creativity and innovation in educational design. As the Lead Learning Designer, you will be at the forefront of our Learning Design and Innovation unit, acting as a dynamic educational leader committed to crafting exceptional learning experiences across a variety of projects.

In this pivotal position, you’ll report directly to the Director of Learning Design & Innovation, collaborating closely with a dedicated team eager to adapt and cater to the unique needs of each initiative. With a high degree of responsibility and autonomy, you will lead the way in designing and producing top-notch learning solutions that are both compliant and engaging—all while navigating tight deadlines.

Your mission will be to inspire and guide your team as you explore, develop, and launch innovative new product offerings that captivate learners and set industry standards. You will engage with colleagues at all organizational levels, ensuring a seamless, effective approach to learning. Plus, you’ll actively connect with enterprise and industry leaders, government bodies, and key stakeholders to fulfill the diverse educational needs of our expansive client and partner network.

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

  • Substantial experience in higher education and/or vocational education and/or within a professional services firm, global consultancy firm and/or large private and/or public sector organisations working within a learning solution context.
  • Proven experience leading multiple projects concurrently combined with strong relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing learning solutions for a range of sectors and delivery modes – online, blended, face-to-face.
  • Knowledge and awareness of relevant teaching/learning tools and learning management systems to enhance design, development and learning experiences.
  • Excellent understanding applied practice of learning design principles, processes, curriculum and assessment development, resource development and production, as well as current and future trends in digital learning.

 

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
