About the Role 
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Enterprise Architect at Swinburne.

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Architecture in the Information Technology department, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining the enterprise architecture and help drive the strategic direction of new and existing technologies that support university operations. The role involves the seamless adoption of this architecture across IT and related projects.

As the Enterprise Architect, you will define and uphold the strategic plan and enterprise architecture for specific business domains within Swinburne. Collaboration with business leaders and technology experts is essential to create and implement an enterprise-wide architecture that aligns with Swinburne’s strategic goals and objectives.

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

•    Engage with the business to understand their business goals and strategies, then use this understanding to develop aligned technology strategies.
•    Work closely with business leaders to identify business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. 
•    Create and maintain the blueprint of the organisation's Enterprise Architecture, including principles, standards and guidelines.
•    Ensure the effective implementation of roadmaps, identify potential areas of investment, and recommendations for technology improvements.
•    Work with the development teams to ensure that all implementations are aligned with the solution architectures and the overall architecture principles, patterns, and standards.
•    In collaboration with the IT Cyber Security and Risk team, ensure that the relevant cyber security standards and principles are embedded throughout the enterprise architecture, supporting principles and process, and associated technical standards.

Qualifications
•    Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant IT discipline with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
•    TOGAF certified
