About the Role
We are seeking a Marketing Operations Coordinator to join our Planning and Operations team, reporting directly to the Marketing Planning and Operations Manager. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth execution of marketing initiatives, processes, campaigns, and projects in collaboration with leaders and colleagues in Marketing and Future Students.
As the Marketing Operations Coordinator, you will support the marketing team by managing the day-to-day operations of our quarterly program of work. You will coordinate cross-functional forums and activities while leveraging data-driven insights to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Utilising Agile methodologies, you will improve team collaboration and adaptability, using JIRA to track progress, manage tasks, and facilitate communication across marketing teams.
Attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach are essential for this role. You will be responsible for managing marketing service requests from the broader university, validating and analysing briefs, assessing project needs and resources, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress. You will also maintain our internal marketing systems and tools.
In addition, you will oversee the specialty print production process for Marketing and Communications. This includes coordinating with vendors to ensure high-quality deliverables that align with our marketing strategies. By integrating these functions, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of our overall marketing program and help drive the achievement of our business objectives.
About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Experience with agile ways of working, using tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Demonstrated experience coordinating and supporting the prioritisation of work efforts and initiatives, team backlogs and defining periodical scopes of work for departments and teams
- Demonstrated experience working in marketing production and achieving successful outcomes in a large matrixed environment , including stakeholder and vendor management
- Demonstrated experience in building credibility and high levels of trust with the ability to communicate, liaise and work with colleagues, staff, suppliers, and stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external to the University with tact maturity, and appreciation of sensitive issues

Qualifications
A degree in marketing with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
