About the Role?
As the Data Insights Business Partner, you will leverage your deep understanding of business needs to analyse diverse data sets, uncovering meaningful trends and opportunities that can significantly enhance university operations and outcomes. You will present these insights to university leaders, collaborating closely with them to prioritize initiatives and devise strategies that address challenges or capitalize on identified opportunities. By fostering a data-driven culture, you will ensure that Swinburne maximizes the value of its data assets.
Your responsibilities will also include driving the adoption and effective use of various data assets, such as dashboards, data sets, AI models, and analytic tools. You will work hand-in-hand with leaders and stakeholders to seamlessly integrate these tools into daily operations, ensuring that data-driven solutions are not only implemented but embraced throughout the university. Your leadership in change management will help embed these data assets into the fabric of university processes, enabling informed decision-making and enhancing overall efficiency.
A key aspect of this role is developing user personas and understanding individual preferences to create personalized data solutions. You will collaborate with the Data and Analytics (D&A) team to tailor data assets to meet specific user needs. Additionally, you will design and implement training programs that upskill staff on utilizing these data assets, ensuring they are equipped to leverage the full potential of the tools available to them. You will also play a crucial role in developing induction programs for new starters, focusing on D&A assets relevant to their roles, ensuring that all staff are data-literate and ready to contribute to the university's data-driven goals from day one.
