About the role
As an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Support Specialist, you will ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people remain connected to family, community and culture, provide strong advocacy to ensure their voices are heard and develop a strong sense of connection and belonging. You will also play a key role in developing, monitoring and implementing Aboriginal cultural support plans for children and young people living within an Out of Home Care setting.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity based on Wiradjuri country in either Dubbo or Orange. There is some travel required to work closely with children and young people across the Western NSW region. with a company vehicle is provided for this.
