About the Role 
Are you ready to lead the future of creative industries within Swinburne Vocational Education and Training (VET)? Swinburne VET is looking for a dynamic and visionary Manager, Creative Industries to join our team and drive innovation in Arts, Design, and Screen and Media program.  As the Manager, Creative Industries, you will be at the forefront of transforming education through strong industry engagement, social inclusion, and a commitment to innovation. You will lead a portfolio of programs within the Business, Design, Media, and ICT Programs (BDMICT) department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and innovative learning experiences that meet the needs of our diverse student cohorts.


About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 
  • Significant experience in the educational area and training sector
  • A demonstrated track record in motivating, leading and managing high performing and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated experience in high level planning, organisational and complex problem solving skills, which enable business units to achieve performance targets and budgets
  • A proven ability to negotiate, collaborate and foster strong relationships both internally and externally; including engagement with industry, the community and professional networks


Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary degree or management qualification
  • AQF5 level (or above) Qualification in Education (preferable)
