About the Role 
Join Swinburne College as a Student Hub Project Officer and make a meaningful impact on student success and well-being. In this dynamic role, you’ll drive innovation and efficiency within the Student Hub by leading transformative projects and streamlining key processes.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the student experience, enhancing retention, and fostering engagement by optimising support services. From automating workflows and managing academic tracking systems to overseeing vital initiatives like the peer tutoring program, you’ll use cutting-edge tools such as PowerAutomate and PowerBI to deliver actionable insights and measurable results.

Reporting directly to the Director of Student Experience, you’ll work collaboratively across teams to achieve strategic goals, ensure compliance with educational standards, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

  • Proven ability to optimize support processes, reduce waiting times, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in using PowerAutomate, PowerBI, and Microsoft Office for automating processes, managing data, and producing professional reports.
  • Demonstrated experience in gathering, analysing, and interpreting data to inform decision-making and support project documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • High level of accuracy in managing sensitive data and ensuring compliance with privacy standards.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate potential issues and take the initiative to resolve them.

Experience in a client-facing role, with demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information and adhere to institutional policies along with familiarity with education environments and strategies for student retention and well-being would be highly desirable. 


Qualifications
Completion of a relevant Degree (Business Administration, IT or Project Management) or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
