About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, client focussed Disability Support Worker to join our team at Wallara Cres. Bundoora. You will be responsible for providing support with activities of daily living and developing, implementing, and monitoring Individual Plans including personal care. In this role you will work to facilitate the delivery of quality services and achieve positive outcomes with and for the clients within the house.
The people supported at this house require high physical needs support as well as Behaviours of concern. Experience with both is essential.
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is supporting people with disability in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living assistance. You can expect to work across a 24/7 roster.

Skills & Experience
Roster splits: 39:15/34:15 This roster is a mix of morning & afternoon shifts also includes 7 Sleep over shifts per monthly roster.
In order to be compliant successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and an International Criminal History Record Check; if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia in the last 10 years. A NDIS workers screening check is also required and a current Victorian Driver's Licence is essential.
