About the Role
Reporting to the Executive Lead, Client Services, Emerging Business, you will partner with clients and their families along with internal and external stakeholders to explore alternative housing options for the people we support such as Individualised Living Options, Community Housing and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Options.  This role is a maximum term (parental leave) full time contract through to January 2026 and can be based from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design new innovative ways of delivering supports to people with disability
  • Develop and contribute to project briefs and plans which describe scope, deliverables, high level solution options, project plans, and identify resources estimates and skills required. 
  • Work with stakeholders to define project requirements then preparing scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification. 
  • Work closely within the National Disability Housing Unit (NDHU) to identify opportunities and manage partnerships with external stakeholders. 
  • Manage project-level budget/s, schedules and resource allocations. 
  • Identify project/business risks and develop mitigation strategies and communicate as required. 
  • Prepare project status reports to meet organisational and stakeholder needs 

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in business, project management, human services or similar
  • Thorough experience and knowledge of the NDIS and SDA
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting high-level projects and project delivery in a national, large or complex human services organisation. 
  • The ability to work autonomously at a senior level
  • Experience in communicating with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to apply theoretical service models to workable solutions in applied settings 
  • The ability to work collaboratively with a range of senior stakeholders including peers, employees, external organisations, funding bodies and government agencies 
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, and ability to think laterally and strategically 
  • Excellent written communication skills for the creation of reports
