About the Role

Joining our Lifestyles (home care support) team, you will provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their own homes, with travel between clients and working short, split shifts required.

Successful candidates will be required to work short shifts (up to 2 hours) across weekdays with travel to different individuals homes to support people with disability living in Greenacre, Croydon and surrounding suburbs including Punchbowl, Ashfield, Revesby and Picnic Point.

Key Responsibilities

• Assistance with daily living (including personal care)
• Domestic assistance (support with household chores)
• Maintain and monitor person-centred plans
• Documenting and progress note keeping
• Community access and transport (with the use of your own vehicle)

Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting people with disability in a home care setting
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Confidence and experience in manual handling and providing personal care
• Australian Drivers Licence and reliable, insured vehicle 
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Willing to complete basic household chores
• Passionate about delivering Person-Centred care

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Clearance.
