As an AV Technician working in our Corporate Events team, you will be the backbone of our renowned events, ensuring the seamless integration of cutting-edge technology and flawless execution. Imagine transforming ordinary gatherings into extraordinary experiences, where your technical prowess and attention to detail captivate both guests and colleagues alike.

This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your technical events experience across various corporate productions at The Star Gold Coast.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Set the stage with top-notch lighting, sound, and AV for performances and events, making sure every moment feels unforgettable
  • Adjust background music, fine-tune audio levels, and jump in to fix any tech hiccups so the vibes stay just right
  • Maintain and service AV systems, troubleshoot issues, and team up with third-party pros to keep everything running smoothly
  • Handle AV requests, respond to room calls on time, and keep everything documented so every event goes off without a hitch

What are we looking for:

  • Technical certificate in audio visual, lighting or sound (highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of, and ability to operate and program, lighting and/or Audio equipment in corporate, live event, or concert settings
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and in a close-knit team environment
  • Flexible availability to meet business needs, including weekends and public holidays
