About the Role

Provide one on one, in-home active overnight support from 11pm to 5am to a person with disability living in Marsfield.

Successful candidates will have previous experience in providing one on one, home care disability support and be confident in providing personal care, manual handling, catheter and bowel care.

Candidates must be able to commit to a minimum of 3 active night shifts per week on a permanent part time basis with willingness to pick up additional short shifts including personal care shifts from 6am to 8:30am.

Joining our Lifestyles team, you will provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their homes, with travel between clients and working short, split shifts required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assistance with daily living (including personal care)
  • Domestic assistance (support with household chores)
  • Maintain and monitor person-centred plans
  • Documenting and progress note keeping

Skills & Experience

  • Experience supporting people with disability in a home care setting
  • Catheter and bowel care experience
  • Manual handling and hoist experience
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Confidence and experience in providing personal care
  • Australian Drivers Licence and reliable, insured vehicle 
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Willing to complete basic household chores
  • Passionate about delivering Person-Centred care

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Clearance.
