About the Role
Are you passionate about working in a fast-paced environment? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a desire to contribute to the international student experience? We are seeking a motivated and proactive Admissions Officer (International) to play a key role in supporting our international student admissions process and ensuring smooth, efficient operations from application to enrolment.
In this role, you will be directly involved in the administration and management of the international student admissions process. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team to drive enrolment targets and maximise student intake, ensuring that offers, acceptances, and enrolments are efficiently processed.
As part of the team, you will also develop and maintain effective communication with prospective students, providing expert guidance and support throughout their application journey. Your contributions will help to enhance the universitys global mission by playing a crucial role in welcoming talented international students from around the world.

Please note that this position has opportunities for both permanent and an 11-month fixed term position.
About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Previous demonstrated experience and in-depth knowledge in international admissions including entry requirements and selection requirements, and the processing of the advanced standing assessment.
- High level organisational skills, including strong attention to detail, the ability to follow-through on tasks and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively use word processing, spreadsheet and database packages, preferably Windows 7 and Excel.
- A demonstrated strong commitment to client service principles and the ability to be flexible and to anticipate and be responsive to client needs.
- An in-depth knowledge of Swinburne University of Technology courses, entry requirements and selection requirements would be advantageous.
Qualifications
Completion of a degree with subsequent relevant work experience; or completion of a diploma and subsequent relevant work experience; or a combination of relevant experience and education training.
