About the Role 
We are looking for a dedicated individual to join the Student domain within the Information Technology – Digital Technology Delivery team. The Student Application team ensures the availability of application services that support key university processes for thousands of staff and students.

In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to improve applications across the University, providing both development support and ensuring compliance with the Student Management System. You will utilize SQL and Crystal Reports to develop key reports and deliver system improvements. 

You will work closely with various University units to ensure high-quality customer service and responsiveness to the needs of both internal and external clients. As a thought leader in IT, you will help identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and transform processes, maximizing the value of technology investments for the University.

The Applications function ensures IT services support academic and operational areas, driving efficiency and effectiveness throughout the University.

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 
  • Demonstrated experience in software incident management and problem management including investigation, resolution, and communication
  • Demonstrated ETL, SQL and/or Crystal Report experience
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks at any one time while maintaining high quality standards
  • Ability to exercise substantial initiative and high- level judgement and to work independently or as part of a team to deliver outcomes within defined Timeframes

Relevant qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
