About the Role 
We are seeking a dedicated Workforce Coordinator to join our dynamic team within People and Culture at Swinburne University to coordinate workforce and sessional operations administration across the Schools in accordance with relevant policies, processes and procedures within the University.

As the Workforce Coordinator, you will be responsible for recruitment administration, HR processes and facilitating payment validation for ongoing, contract and sessional staff. You will be required to have a proactive approach in planning, improving processes and providing authoritative advice to all stakeholders, including liaising with the wider People and Culture team and other central university areas.

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, oral and written, with the ability to communicate, liaise, work in team environment, and with people at all levels, both internal and external to the organisation with tact, maturity and appreciation of sensitive issues.
  • Excellent organisational and proven time management skills, along with the ability to work to deadlines; prioritise activities, manage competing priorities and to respond to ad hoc and time critical deadlines
  • Well-developed knowledge of, and experience in, the application of contemporary Human Resources procedures and practices.
  • Demonstrated conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly proficient computer skills, in particular MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database applications.

Qualifications
  • Completion of a bachelor degree with relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
