About the Role 
We are seeking a Solutions Assistant to join the School of Social Sciences, Media, Film and Education and play a key role in providing digital support to the Invergowrie STEM Hub project- STEMeez, under the continuing partnership between Swinburne University and Deakin University.

As the Solutions Assistant, you will support the Solutions Lead in the day-to-day administration of the STEMeez website and be responsible for uploading and maintaining content on the website, data analytics, liaising with external agencies to assist development of engaging, accessible, innovative, research-informed digital learning assets, provide technical assistance to website users. 

You will be the key Swinburne STEM Hub project resource, reporting to the Solutions Lead of the project, whilst working closely with other casual professional staff hired across SUT and Deakin, as well as the content writers, learning designers, educational technologists, co-design user stakeholder groups and the Research Team to support the project deliverables.  

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 
  • Proven experience in digital content administration (WordPress preferrable), monitoring user behaviour and experience, data interpretation and analysis.
  • Advanced computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Teams and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Strong people skills including materializing successful partnerships, relationships and creating sustained impact.
  • Knowledge of SEO and industry best practices.
  • Background in STEM is preferred. 

Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in technology, multimedia or related field.
