About the Role
Were looking for a strategic and collaborative Product Marketing Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Brand & Marketing, youll act as the main liaison between the Future Students & Marketing department and various delivery areas across Swinburne, including schools, research areas, and key internal stakeholders such as the Product & Pricing and Communications teams.
Your primary responsibility will be to build strong working relationships and deliver high-quality marketing supportboth strategic and operationalacross the university, with a particular focus on schools and vocational education departments. You will lead marketing efforts for a defined product portfolio, which includes a range of study areas and qualification levels, from certificates to postgraduate programs. This involves understanding recruitment, brand, and engagement challenges, conducting market analysis, and developing marketing strategies aligned with the overall Future Students & Marketing plan.
Collaboration is central to this role. Youll work closely with academic and teaching teams to create solutions that support Swinburnes growth and quality targets. Your ability to understand stakeholder needs and deliver marketing solutions that reflect brand strategy, resource constraints, and organisational KPIs will be key to your success.
About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Proficient skills in the areas of strategy and planning demonstrating strong analytical and conceptual thinking relating to complex projects and the ability to influence and lead
- Demonstrated ability to achieve successful outcomes in a marketing role. Including strong capacity for innovation
- Proven experience in the analysis and management of complex marketing issues to deliver financial growth and brand credibility in domestic markets
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial, human, physical and IT resources to achieve strategic and operational goals

Qualifications
Postgraduate qualifications in Marketing or progress towards Marketing postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
