About the job
We are looking for 2 Lecturers to join our Computer Science and Software Engineering Department, which has a strong culture of academic excellence. In these newly created opportunities you will undertake teaching and research in computer science and software engineering related areas including, but not limited to, data science, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, mobile application development, internet of things, software quality and project management. You will be contributing to the leadership, expertise and coordination of the teaching programs for the Faculty and assume administrative tasks associated with normal teaching duties, including developing and supporting academic programs and working with the academic team in the development of program change and innovation. You will make a significant contribution in research that expands knowledge, contributing to the Faculty’s research excellence and impact in collaboration with external partners as required. About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• An earned doctoral qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other relevant discipline areas
• Demonstrated experience in teaching and undertaking associated administrative duties at University level
• Demonstrated ability to develop high quality teaching material in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level
