About the job
A fantastic opportunity in 2019 has become available for a Senior Teacher/Course Coordinator to lead and work collaboratively within a team of education professionals in the Department Health, Arts & Design.
As our new Senior Teacher/Course Coordinator, you will be able to customise and adapt our programs to meet our learners and clients’ needs that vary from certificate level through to diploma. Within this team environment, you will plan deliver, assess, evaluate and ensure compliance of high quality education and training programs.
We strive to inspire, engage and educate our students for the 21st century. As a leader of Swinburne teachers you will implement industry best practice and apply current learning technologies and contemporary learning pedagogies.
About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• AQF5 level (or above) Qualification in Education
• Relevant tertiary degree or vocational qualification including evidence of currency
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience coordinating academic programs, providing support and supervision of teaching staff and ensuring program compliance requirements are met in alignment with University policy and TESQA regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to implement high quality innovative teaching and learning programs in a variety of learning modes, which respond to a diverse range of student and client needs.
