Our People and Culture team is responsible for supporting the University’s 2025 vision and strategy by providing strategic advice and services to the whole University across the full range of human resource and internal communication activities.
The People & Culture team are now looking for an experienced Recruitment professional to take on the role of Recruitment Consultant – Executive Search to provide a high level, full service recruitment and selection offering to the University with a focus on senior executive appointments.
In this position, you will utilise strategic sourcing and targeted marketing techniques to attract suitable talent. This role will proactively identify and approach suitable candidates within passive and non-passive markets.
Reporting to the Recruitment Manager and working closely with the Executive team at Swinburne, the Recruitment Consultant – Executive Search will collaborate with all areas of the University including Academic, Corporate and Pathways & Vocational Education (PAVE) stakeholders to ensure all recruitment needs are fulfilled and a talent strategy for each area is identified and implemented.
Skills, qualifications and experience
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
• Experience in Executive Search and senior recruitment, advice and support (in house recruitment experience is essential)
• High level interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
