About the job
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Research Assistant to join the Iverson Health Innovation Research Institute. This position will complement the existing researchers and research agendas within the Institute. This is a full-time, 1.0 EFT contract that will end in March of 2020.

As our new Research Assistant, you will support the clinical investigations of the team, so clinical and physiology experience would be particularly valuable. The appointee may also be involved in the broader research agenda of the Iverson, with a focus on understanding mechanisms of diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure, with a particular emphasis on sympathetic nervous activity.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• Bachelors Degree in Health Sciences, Physiology or related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in undertaking research projects in physiology and/or biochemistry
• Demonstrated resourcefulness, initiative and the ability to work independently
