About the job
As an Engineering Teacher, you will inspire, engage and educate our students for the 21st century. You will implement industry best practice and apply current learning techniques and practices.

This role requires you to be able to customise and adapt our programs to meet our student’s needs that vary from certificate level through to diploma and associate degree levels. This is an exciting time to join Swinburne’s Vocational Education team as we experience great growth!

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Experience teaching Engineering in the Vocational Education sector
  • Experience developing learning and assessment resources
  • An understanding of current VE policy and developments and an innovative approach to VE and training

You will also hold the following qualification:

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor

  • TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and one of the following:
    o TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills or its successor, or
    o TAELLN401A Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skill

    and one of the following:
    o TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools or its successor, or
    o TAEASS502A Design and develop assessment tools, or
    o TAEASS502B Design and develop assessment tools.

  • a diploma or higher level qualification in adult education.
