Come join the Centre for Human Psychopharmacology as our new Research Nurse to assist with the day-to-day running of research projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing clinical procedures including blood and other biological sample collection, blood sample preparation, vital sign monitoring, adverse event monitoring and oversight, and other data collection and management. The Reseacrh Nurse will also be responsible for monitoring participant behaviour and well-being and provide assistance for medical interventions.
As part of the role, you will also undertake planning and preparatory work for the following day’s study activities including participant recruitment and scheduling and preparation of study documents. The Research Nurse will also participate in Research Assistant duties when required, including data collection and data entry for research projects.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• Holds a current registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse in Victoria
• Experience monitoring participants behaviour, vital signs and adverse effects
• Demonstrated ability to work as directed, with thoroughness and attention to detail in terms of participant care and testing protocols
