About the job
Our supportive and collaborative Graduate Studies Team is currently seeking a Graduate Studies Officer to join them on a full-time ongoing basis. In this busy and varied role, you will provide support for a range of administrative functions within Graduate Studies. A key accountability of your role is to ensure that all matters related to Higher Degree by Research (HDR) candidates are handled efficiently and effectively, and supporting a positive experience for the lifetime of the progam. You will provide support to both the Admissions & Scholarships team and Candidature & Examination team, assisting with enrolments, enquiries, outbound communication to students, processing candidature variations and progress review outcomes, and preparing reports.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines, while maintaining a strong attention to detail.

• Demonstrated experience in applying policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

• A strong commitment to customer service principles.

• Demonstrated knowledge of the operations of a tertiary institution, particularly in relation to postgraduate research education and research administration.
