Are you passionate about teaching the next generation of Finance professionals and guiding them into a career where they can make a real difference? Do you have the experience and skills necessary to provide an engaging and inspiring educational experience? If you do, Swinburne’s Business & Finance department are looking for casual teachers to begin teaching Finance (Accounting & Bookkeeping) immediately.

The role of the Finance (Accounting & Bookkeeping) Teacher is to share their experience and knowledge with students, and encourage our students to successfully obtain their qualifications and succeed in their chosen profession. The Finance (Accounting & Bookkeeping) teacher works within a passionate team of teachers. Within this team they plan deliver, assess, evaluate and ensure compliance of high quality education programs.

About you
To be successful in the role, it is mandatory that you have:

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor
    OR
  • TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment|
    and one of the following:
  • TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills or its successor, or
  • TAELLN401A Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills
    and one of the following:
  • TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools or its successor, or
  • TAEASS502A Design and develop assessment tools, or
  • TAEASS502B Design and develop assessment tools.
    OR
  • A diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education
  • A demonstrated ability to implement high quality innovative teaching and learning programs in a variety of learning modes, reflecting an understanding of successful approaches to Subject Area teaching.
