If you do, Swinburne’s Health, Science and Community department are looking for teachers to begin teaching the Diploma of Nursing immediately.

A nursing teacher at Swinburne is expected to share their experience and knowledge with students, and encourage them to successfully obtain their qualifications and succeed in their chosen profession. Our nursing teachers work within a passionate team of teachers. Within this team they plan deliver, assess, evaluate and ensure compliance of high quality education programs. About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116): or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 or equivalent units.
  • Division 1 Nurse Registration
  • A demonstrated ability to implement high quality innovative teaching and learning programs in a variety of learning modes, reflecting an understanding of successful approaches to Subject Area teaching.
  • Demonstrated excellence or capacity to implement high quality teaching and assessment, using a variety of learning modes, which respond to diverse student learning needs.
