About The Role
Role Location: 839 Collins Street, Melbourne
Role Type: Permanent, Full-time
As an Assessment Specialist you will be responsible for developing and delivering innovative, fit for purpose assessment strategies and solutions that enable teams across Joiners and Movers (Talent & Culture - Resourcing) to create engaging employee experiences and drive informed selection decisions.
You will conduct internal and external research to explore market trends in assessment approaches and technologies and identify new and emerging methods and tools. You will partner with relevant areas across Talent & Culture and the business to devise fit for purpose assessment solutions to facilitate transformation and organisational change.
You will also identify and partner with service providers of assessment solutions and technologies to digitize and automate selection and development processes. Lastly, you will have a passion for coaching and empowering others as you develop learning materials for Joiners and Movers colleagues and business leaders to build assessment knowledge and capability.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
  • Currently registered as a Psychologist. Membership with professional bodies (e.g. APS) is preferred, with industry knowledge in the field of Organisational Psychology
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of assessment methodologies and best practice principles and appropriate accreditation (i.e. SHL)
  • Research skills, including experience with study design and qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Exceptional ability to prioritise and focus on activity that will deliver the greatest value to our employees and the business
  • Experience managing Service Providers and Contract management
  • Passion and curiosity for understanding human behaviour and how people can be assessed based on knowledge, skills and behaviours
  • Willingness to embrace new and emerging digital technologies
