About the job
We have a great opportunity for a Business Improvement Specialist to join Swinburne and work closely with key business partner groups, particularly within our Students portfolio.

In this dynamic and varied role, you will be a champion for initiating and driving change as well as continuous improvement within the organisation, with a strong focus on developing staff capability and operations.

This position provides a key liaison point between the Students Portfolio and all Academic Units in the facilitation and fulfilment of service obligations.

You will work in close collaboration with a number of stakeholders including Education and Quality Services, the PAVE Executive, IT and broadly across the Students portfolio to interpret Government legislation, provide authoritative advice and to develop, implement and review administrative policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• Demonstrated experience in the management of client service functions, including a demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high quality services to a range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects, develop and implement quality assurance and contribute to strategic planning.
• A demonstrated ability to investigate and make informed decisions regarding complex issues.
• Strong organisation skills, attention to detail, analysis and improvement.
• Extensive experience in mapping processes, redesign and workshop facilitation.
