About the job
Are you passionate about teaching the next generation of IT professionals and guiding them into a career where they can make a real difference? Do you have the experience and skills necessary to provide an engaging and inspiring educational experience? If you do, the ICT department are looking for casual teachers to begin teaching in Programming – Networking and Cyber Security immediately.

The role of the PAVE teacher will work collaboratively within a team of education professionals. Within this team environment, they will plan deliver, assess, evaluate and ensure compliance of high quality education and training programs. This role requires our teachers to be able to customise and adapt our programs to meet our learners and clients’ needs that vary from certificate IV through to diploma levels.
This position will require the applicant to deliver units relating to object oriented programming language and mobile applications.

About you
To be successful in the role, it is essential that you have:
• Relevant degree or vocational qualification in areas applicable to Website Development or Programming
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or its successor)
• Object-oriented language skills including tool usage, documentation, debugging and testing techniques.
o Programming languages required include Java, C#, C++
• Other programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Powershell
• A demonstrated ability to implement high quality innovative teaching and learning programs in a variety of learning modes, reflecting an understanding of successful approaches to Subject Area teaching.
