Are you passionate about teaching the next generation of Justice professionals and guiding them into a career where they can make a real difference? Do you have the experience and skills necessary to provide an engaging and inspiring educational experience? If you do, Swinburne’s Legal department are looking for teachers to undertake training to begin teaching 22320VIC Diploma of Justice in second semester.

The successful applicants must be willing to successfully complete, as a Swinburne sponsored student, the TAESS00014 - Enterprise Trainer-Presenting Skill Set before August 2019 and then successfully complete, as a Swinburne sponsored student, the TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment before December 2019.
The successful applicants will teach using the provided materials under supervison. The successful applicants will observe assessments but will not engage in the assesmernt process until succesfully completing the TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

The role of the Justice Teacher is to share their experience and knowledge with students, and encourage our students to successfully obtain their qualifications and succeed in their chosen profession. The Justice teacher works within a passionate team of teachers. Within this team they plan deliver, assess, evaluate and ensure compliance of high quality education programs.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • A relevant vocational qualification and a minimum of five years relevant work experience
  • A willingness to successfully complete, as a Swinburne sponsored student, the TAESS00014 - Enterprise Trainer-Presenting Skill Set before August 2019
  • A willingness to successfully complete, as a Swinburne sponsored student, the TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment before December 2019.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, student mentoring and student experience.
