Placement Coordinator - Nursing and Health x 2

About the job
The Placement Coordinator, Nursing and Health is responsible for providing expert administrative support to the Nursing and Health Teaching area in relation to all aspects of student nursing and health placements. Within this you will be placing students in health facilities, responding to placement related queries, liaising with the relevant departmental and placement administration staff, and external facilitators regarding documentation and recording and filing student’s nursing practice details.

Skills and experience
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:

• A degree with substantial subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience in similar administrative fields; or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
• Be a registered or enrolled nurse (for Nursing Placement Coordinator role)
• Experience in an administrative role including coordination of a range of functions and provision of advice about, and interpretation of, policy and procedures, in a vocational or tertiary education institution
