About the job
As Senior Student Engagement Manager you will be an ambassador for the University, initiating, developing and strengthening Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programs in collaboration with faculties, centres and corporate services areas.
Under the direction of the Director, you will manage Work Integrated Learning programs, contributes to Swinburne’s objective to be the partner of choice for the industries and communities we serve, and actively contributes to Swinburne’s employability agenda.
You will lead a team passionate about the employability of our students and relationship management between Swinburne and external stakeholders. You will lead the development of initiatives aimed at establishing, maintaining and strengthening the University’s Work Integrated Learning offerings for Swinburne students and ensure that any student issues or procedural requirements are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
Extensive experience and management expertise; or postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strong working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing strategies which have effectively improved business processes, increased revenue or increased by-in from stakeholders
