About the job
The role/s involves working on new and existing housing and urban research projects within the Centre for Urban Transitions. The position/s include undertaking analysis of quantitative, spatial and related data under direction and providing assistance to lead investigator/s on a range of research projects, as well as assisting with publishing journal articles, book chapters and other publications. The position/s suit highly skilled Early Career Researcher/s wishing to work in a dynamic, multi-project environment and with an interest in housing and urban research, in the context of urban transitions. The position is for a total of 12 months initially with the possibility of extension. Preferred starting date 1st of August 2019. Full-time and part-time applicants may be considered.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• An earned doctoral qualification in a social science discipline or discipline relevant to housing and urban transitions research, in conjunction with relevant research experience
• A demonstrated capacity to complete advanced writing and analysis tasks, potentially including the preparation of reports, journal articles, book chapters, and monographs.
• Highly developed project and time management skills, including the ability to prioritise research tasks, work effectively in teams in sometimes tight timelines.
