About the job
We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join Swinburne Professional as we seek to influence the current status of corporate training and learning by offering tailored, comprehensive suites of professional development programs. As a Senior Consultant you will be tasked with devising strategic approached to discovering and enhancing current and new business opportunities, closing business deals through the development and negotiations of contracts and developing the industry’s knowledge of our education and commercial products.

Building genuine relationships are just as important to us as the revenue growth so we are after a real people person, someone who understands the market but who also values the wide variety of partners and stakeholders that work with us. This role is ideal for a professional who is excited by working in an industry built around bettering others and one where the satisfaction comes from seeing the improvement in other people’s lives.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and, extensive relevant workplace experience in a B2B consultative role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage expectations and negotiate to achieve outcomes that satisfy clients and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and set priorities and manage clients and accounts through a CRM system to contribute to business unit KPI’s.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business development and commercial environments
  • Demonstrated ability to be responsive and deliver quality client service, delivering the outcomes required and with a proactive, can-do attitude.
