If you do, Swinburne’s Health, Science and Community department are looking for teachers to begin teaching:
• Certificate IV in Community Services
• Diploma of Community Services
• Certificate IV in Social Housing
• Certificate IV in Disability
• Certificate IV in Alcohol and other Drugs
• Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention
• Graduate Certificate in Client Assessment
• Certificate III in Community Services
Our community services teachers are expected to share their experience and knowledge with students, and encourage them to successfully obtain their qualifications and succeed in a rewarding career. Our community services teachers work within a passionate team of teachers. Within this team they plan deliver, assess, evaluate and ensure compliance of high quality education programs. You will have:
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116): or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 or equivalent units.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience working within the Community Services Sector.
• Demonstrated excellence or capacity to implement high quality teaching and assessment, using a variety of learning modes, which respond to diverse student learning needs.
• Understanding of current VET policy and developments and innovative approaches to vocational education and training.
