About the Job
As our new Events Specialist, you can contribute to the achievement of the University’s goals through the development and execution of major recruitment events, such as those linked to VTAC campaigns.

Our successful candidate will manage major events from inception to delivery, ensuring all client deliverables are met, and will work closely with the Events and Projects Coordinator and Head of Domestic and Direct Recruitment.

This role is an exciting one, as it presents the opportunity to optimise major events, ensuring prospective customers can engage with the Swinburne brand in a meaningful way, and ultimately contributes to the achievement of the Universities 2025 vision and ongoing recruitment targets.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• A degree in marketing/ communications, business management or related fields with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/ or training
• Current Victorian Drivers Licence
• Proven ability to support clients, stakeholders and business partners
• Excellent organisational and project management skills, including planning, scheduling, prioritising (with conflicting deadlines), event management and reporting
