Play a key role in raising and marketing the awareness and visibility of the Swinburne brand in school markets

About the job
The Recruitment Officer contributes to the achievement of domestic student enrolment targets for SUT programs in Australia through effective management of a program of engagement with school student prospects. The position generates enquiries from school students, liaises with key contacts in schools, and develops and implements an annual calendar of recruitment activities, which aligns with the broader SUT Schools Engagement Strategy.

The position represents the University at recruitment events and is a key role in raising the awareness and visibility of the Swinburne brand in the schools market.

The Recruitment Officer provides advice to prospective students and their influencers about the study and living options available at SUT; and administers segment-appropriate marketing events and activities.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• Completion of an associate degree/diploma level qualification in marketing/ Communications or equivalent with relevant work related experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
• Demonstrated experience in managing an indirect sales channel in a services industry
• Strong interpersonal communication, teamwork and negotiation skills
