About the Job
As a Global Mobility Consultant you will work within the People & Culture function to understand current and likely future mobility needs, and recommend the best solution for Swinburne in both local and global mobility.
Basing your actions on Swinburne’s strategic direction and immediate needs you will develop a comprehensive framework and set of policies for global and local mobility which covers:
• Inbound and outbound movement for Australian employees
• Employees on SUT sponsored visas and those on visas not sponsored by SUT (working holiday, spousal visas etc)
• SUT employees who are not tax paying residents of Australia
• University needs and is engaging for our employees
Working within the wider People & Culture function you will also develop a change and communication plan, and education tools and materials for key stakeholders across the university.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
• extensive experience in managing Global and Local mobility
• Be able to relate to, influence and present to various levels in an organization including Senior Leaders
• Previous experience in setting up a Global Mobility Function in an organization
