About the Job
An opportunity has arisen for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the Theoretical Physics Group, Centre for Quantum and Optical Sciences at Swinburne University of Technology as we undertake work associated with ARC DP Projects on Computational Physics and Quantum Technologies. In this role you will contribute to the objectives outlined in ARC funded DP projects “Applications and tests of mesoscopic quantum coherence and entanglement” and “Simulation of exponentially complex quantum technologies.” You will carry out physics research as directed by the CI’s of these grants.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• Strong BSc degree in Physics or relevant field
• PhD in Physics, including quantum information and quantum technology or relevant field
• Experience in quantum phase-space methods and computational physics
• Demonstrated competence/success in this or a related area, e.g., as judged by publications (or papers in press) in peer reviewed journals.
