About the role
As a Gamblers Help Venue Support Worker, you will work closely with other team members including Financial Counsellors, Therapeutic Counsellors and Community Engagement Workers to raise awareness of, and commitment to minimising gambling harm. You will work with gaming venues to improve individual and community capacity to reduce gambling–related harm and develop responsible gambling behaviours and environments.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Community Development, Public Health, Health Promotion, Education or a closely related field.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

You are enthusiastic and committed with demonstrated experience in working collaboratively to achieve outcomes. You can develop strong partnerships, provide expert education and respond to opportunities using education, training and advice. You are experienced in information gathering and sharing and are able to access and share a wide range of resources to build capacity.
