About the Job
The Science, Engineering & Technology Department is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced sessional teacher(s) to teach a programming unit “Developing Technical Software”

This unit is from our Higher Education Diploma of Information Technology (Unilink) delivered at our Hawthorn campus. The requirement will be to predominantly carry out teaching and assessment duties.

You will also need demonstrated skills and experience required to effectively teach:
• C and C++
• HTML & JavaScript

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Relevant qualifications, preferably Ph.D. in relevant field
  • A teaching qualification relevant for a tertiary education environment.
  • Have sound computer skills to email, access databases, MS Office, and Canvas or other related LMS.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, student mentoring and student experience.
