Tech Area Architect Regulatory & Compliance Tech Area
About the Role
This is a central position within the Tech Area. The Tech Area Architect will define the architecture for a Technology Area, plan the architectural runway to support upcoming sprints, design and evaluate solutions and provide technical expertise to squads.
This role is based within the Regulatory & Compliance Tech Area whose mission is to provide services to the Regulatory Reporting, Surveillance and Compliance business units within the Institutional Domain. The focus is to enable best of breed technology capabilities that enable ANZ to comply with its regulatory obligations. Markets Finance delivery is incorporated into the area for the duration of a Finance Transformation Programme to establish a Markets Finance Operational Hub for Markets & Treasury Control (M&TC) and Finance Control (FC).

experience and understanding of microservices, as well as Markets products and services
understanding of technology stacks in depth
confident problem solver that can understand and translate business needs into strategic technology roadmaps and architectural principles
strong skills in consulting across the business and building collaborative relationships with stakeholders to understand business drivers, compliance impacts and direction and flow on technology impacts
