About the role and you

Situated within the College of Business, the School of Vocational Business Education (VBE) offers a broad range of globally oriented, applied training and education, from Certificate to Associate Degree level, nationally and internationally (Indonesia and China) to approximately 4000 students.

The Financial and Legal Services Industry Group offers a range of programs from Certificate IV through to Advanced Diploma to both local and international students. Our programs offer students the opportunity to work on authentic industry-based projects that are supported by our industry partners who work with both teachers and students to provide outstanding employment outcomes.

The School is currently inviting expressions of interest for sessional teachers to join its Legal Practice and Conveyancing programs for Semester 1 and 2, 2020. Subject expertise and industry currency is required in the following fields:

  • Introduction to the Legal System
  • Civil Procedure
  • Legal Practice and Technology
  • Administrative Law
  • Family Law
  • Wills, Probate and Administration
  • Legal Research

 

Qualifications

A qualification in the TAE401106 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent is required.

A Bachelor degree, postgraduate or Diploma qualification in the relevant program discipline is highly regarded. Applications should outline your relevant industry experience.  

 

Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children check.
