About the role
In the first three years of this position, you will be expected to act as the Program Manager for the Bachelor of Communication (Public Relations) which will involve working with the Public Relations team and the School to coordinate the vision and delivery of the Public Relations Program and ensure it is achieving desired outcomes.
The program has a strong focus on public relations praxis and requires research leadership that enables research to be integrated in the teaching program and extended to our industry engagement activities. As Senior Lecturer, you are expected to contribute to the research, teaching and engagement activities of the program.
About you
You will have strong academic leadership skills and contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the Public Relations discipline. It is expected that you will have experience with coordinating courses and delivering programs and innovative pathways to student-centred learning and improvement.
Using your excellent communication and negotiation skills, you will bring with you the ability to develop high-quality, driven relationships across RMIT and with local, national and global, internal and external networks.
Qualifications
Mandatory: PhD or equivalent in relevant field.
